The Sugar Smax are a Seattle-based New Orleans funk trunk led by New Orleans native Producer and guitarist, Richard Newman. The Sugar Smax kick old New Orleans favorites by Allen Toussaint and Dr. John alongside the newer, funkier Nola artists like Trombone Shorty and Galactic.

"I love the idea of laying down grooves for my friends, the brass players", said Newman, "-the brass rule the roost in Nola baby, I want these horn players out here to start behaving more like the guitar players, and this is my contribution (laughs)".

Join us on Friday evenings in Woodinville for happy hour from 4-8pm and live music from 6-8 pm! Select wines by-the-glass and full bottle purchases will be available. Our hand-crafted food menu will also be featured. Seating is first-come-first-served.
