ABOUT THE
PROJECT
Morgan and Two Vintners hold Syrah in Washington State in high regard. Washington is a truly world-class growing region, and Syrah in particular is incredibly distinctive.
Lee, who was raised near Purdue in Lafayette, Indiana, cofounded Two Vintners in 2007 and serves as the winery’s head winemaker. He traces his passion for winemaking back to a wine-appreciation class taught by renowned Purdue enology professor Richard Vine.
A note from the winemaker
This second vintage of “the Mall”—our name for this special Purdue wine—represents a blend of the most remarkable Syrah vineyards in the great Columbia Valley. Each site was specifically chosen to accentuate the very best expression of Washington wine.
Purdue has been a part of my story since childhood—it’s where I discovered my passion for winemaking and gained the skills to turn that into a career. This wine truly embodies who we are as a winery, & I’m proud to share it with my Boilermaker family.
